well the lights are almost all down and i have started sequencing and planing new props for the 2013 season marie and i are doing an upgrade to our home so it will be slow going for a while but some parts of the new props have already been procured hoping to add another controller this year for more updates check back often.

the only way i will be able to make the show better is to hear from the folks who see the show or need extra directions on how to get here if you will leave a comment good or bad it will be acted on the web site sends me an email for every comment revived i check my e mails every day around 300 pm its set up this way so spammers do not have access to my e mail.

the reason for this post is to Gage the interest of people in the eastern section of our state who wish to start a group to spread and learn the hobby of sequenced and animated Christmas lighting and outdoor displays.if you live in the area from Wilson north Carolina to the coast or from the Virginia line south to Jacksonville and are interested contact me leave a comment  i know this has been discussed  before but it turns out that is going to be a local group this will also be posted on Facebook and my web site no body will be turned away or looked over.

2013 sarted off real slow with my location being in the country a lot of people did not know this display was here.Thanks firstly to Cindy miller of WSFL FM 106.5 and the rest of the on air staff people started coming by and as well as a large heart felt thanks go to Collen and  the rest of the on air staff at V103.3  these 2 radio sations have brought more people to see the display than i could have ever dreamed we have also had a vist from our local tv not 1 but 2 local sations have broadcast our display thanks to all

i have had a lot of folks ask if they could leave donations this display is eco frirndly mostly led lights and being computer controlled it runs very cheap .to keep myself out of trouble with the guys in the black suits thanks for the thought but i have to say no thanks.My payment is to see and hear the enjoyment in peoples faces and the oooohs and awwws from the kids again thanks for stopping by.PLEASE PLEASE folks don t put money in the comment box in front of the display the display is not tied to any charity i am touched by the few donations it has revived but i must ask that the donations stop the display is very echo friendly and cost less than 50 dollars to run for the season if you wish to make a donation you can donate to http://www.msfocus.org/

If coming from New Bern take highway 17 north past Vanceboro to Wilmar turn right  on Irene road 1/2 mile to the stop sign and turn left display will be 1/4 mile on the left.If driving in from Washington take highway 17 south to Chandler road turn left on to Chandler proceed 3 1/2 miles display will be 1/4 mile past county line road name changes at the county line. those of our friends not wishing to park on the side of road can park in the grass across from the display.For those of you using MapQuest or a gps our address is                                                         805 Purser road Vanceboro N.C. 28586
